CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam for the December session was conducted from 16 to 28 February 2025 in CBT mode at various centers across the country. The registration process for the exam lasted till 2 January 2025. The result of the December 2023 session exam was declared in April. CSIR UGC NET 2024 Result: How many marks are required to pass?
Candidates who are successful in the exam will be eligible to apply for a Junior Research Fellowship or recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges. To pass the exam, candidates of the General, EWS, and OBC categories will have to get at least 33 percent marks. On the other hand, candidates of SC, ST and PWD category will have to score a minimum of 25 percent marks to pass the exam. The passing criteria applies to both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor eligibility.
