However, the public seems to have not reached expectations as it failed to surpass or even come close to Salman’s previous releases. In its second week, Sikandar has crawled towards the Rs 100 crore milestone. While most expected the film to earn gradually, Sunny Deol’s You and Mohanlal’s L2: Employment have posed quite the competition.

According to the industry tracker, Sacnilk, Salman Khan’s Sikandar minted Rs 107.85 crore in Nett India collection and Rs 176.15 crore in worldwide earnings. On Day 12, Sikandar earned Rs 0.71 crore as per early estimates, becoming the lowest single-day collection for the film so far. What was expected to the a high-grosser has failed to cross the Rs 200 crore worldwide. Sikandar‘s week 1 collection stands at a decent Rs 90.25 crore in India. However, week 2 saw only Rs 17.56 crore, leading to an 80.54% decline in earnings.
As Sikandar’s Box Office collection declines rapidly, Sunny Deol’s You might block the Salman Khan-starrer altogether. Released on April 10, 2025, You share 's opening day collection stands at Rs 9.5 crore. According to trade analyst Girish Wankhede, the word of mouth surrounding the film appears to be positive. “This could bode well for the film’s performance over the extended weekend, particularly from Friday to Sunday. The presence of an extended weekend, combined with the dedicated fanbase of Sunny Deol in North India, may provide a boost to the box office numbers as audiences seek to support a film featuring their favourite actor,” he said.
Will Jaat block Sikandar at the Box Office? Presumably so. Additionally, with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan’s Kesari Chapter 2 scheduled to release on April 18, 2025, the scope for Sikandar to increase its collection seems low.
