Every year millions of devotees go to Kedarnath Dham to see Lord Shiva. If this year you are also planning to travel to Kedarnath, then there is good news for you. Helicopter booking for Kedarnath Yatra 2025 has started officially from 8 April. The yatra is scheduled to begin on May 2 and this year helicopter booking has been made easier for devotees. Now you can book online helicopter sitting at home.
To book a helicopter for Kedarnath Yatra, first you have to register Char Dham Yatra by going to registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. You will not be able to book a helicopter ticket without registration. After registration, you have to sign up by visiting www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in. Here you have to enter your name, phone number and email ID and create an account. If you are traveling alone, enter your registration number. If you are traveling in the group, then enter Chardham Registration Group ID.
Now, you can choose your favorite trip date, helipad and aviation company. Next, fill the passenger details. Note that with an ID you can book 6 tickets and if you are traveling in the group then booking up to 12 is allowed. For a group of more than 12, you have to create another IRCTC Haley travel account. After filling all the details, submit the OTP sent on your registered mobile number or email. After this, accept the terms and conditions and proceed to pay. After giving the ticket price, download your ticket and take a print out of it.
Helicopter services for Kedarnath will be operated from 3 major helipads like Guptkashi, Fata and Sirsi. The fare of these helipads varies:
If you want to cancel the ticket, then within 5-7 days, money will be returned to your account, but for this you will have to pay a cancellation fee. If you cancel the service 24 hours before the booking, then there will be no refund in this situation.
A separate seat will be required for children above two years, and for this they will have to pay full fare. At the same time, travel is free for children under 2 years of age.
