Under the guidance of Nandyal traffic police, a creative free medical camp was held on Thursday in response to district SP Adhiraj Singh Rana’s directives. The camp helped more than 250 people, and all attendees received education on traffic laws and road safety via educational posters and signboards.
This activity was held at the RK Function Hall in Nandyal in cooperation with Omni Hospital, Rayalaseema Motorway, and Pushpagiri Eye Hospital.
Police officers, school bus and car drivers, truck union workers, and other persons were given free medical examinations. Blood pressure, blood sugar, ECG, 2D echo, and eye examination were among the examinations.
This free medical camp was held with the intention of educating drivers about preventing traffic accidents and motivating them to take care of their health. Regular eye exams were given special attention since safe driving depends on having clear vision. Everyone must abide by traffic laws and road safety, SP Rana stressed. He cautioned drivers against exceeding passenger limitations for financial gain since doing so raises the possibility of collisions and discourages speeding.
He said that ongoing awareness campaigns had reduced traffic accidents in comparison to earlier times. People may use the toll-free number 1033 to get rapid assistance if they need it while driving on a highway or in the event of an accident. In order to teach drivers how to help accident victims who are experiencing shock, doctors performed CPR demonstrations.
