British Traveller Viral Video: British traveller George Buckley was taken by surprise while travelling to Varanasi on an Indian train. He was shocked to see that the sandwich and milkshake he had ordered on Zomato had been brought straight to his coach during a quick halt at Kanpur Central.
George said, “I am ordering food to be delivered on a train in India,” in a video that he posted online. Just wait if you don’t trust me. George had used the Zomato app two hours before to reserve his meal, a sandwich, and a milkshake. He anxiously waited at the door of his air-conditioned first-class carriage as the train came to a five-minute stop. Before leaving, the delivery guy snapped a photo and handed him the meal at the door.
George thanked him for helping with the order and enjoyed the lunch with his Indian companion. His exuberant reaction and the unique experience quickly went viral, inspiring admiration for India’s train cuisine among many.
George shared the now-famous video on his @georgebxckley Instagram page. “The UK needs to take notes,” he captioned the photo, adding, “It was a pleasure meeting you, bro.” The video, which was published just a day ago, has already received over 630,000 views, drawing interest from people worldwide.
