A young woman and her lover killed a taxi driver by hitting him on the head with a hammer and gouging out his eyes. After the murder, the accused couple fled from Navi Mumbai. Since the accused did not know how to drive, he caused accidents in Pune and Nashik. This led to the fact that when the accused was taken into custody, he killed the cab driver. When the police arrested the accused in this case, the reason for killing the cab driver was not disclosed.

The name of the 44-year-old cab driver who died is Sanjay Pandey. He was unmarried and lived in Ulwe area of Navi Mumbai. A few months ago, 19-year-old accused Riya Sarkanya Singh had traveled in the deceased's car. During the journey, the accused girl told that she was helpless. She also said that she needed a job. After understanding the girl's situation, Pandey gave her shelter in his house. He also got me a job in Ulwe area. The girl was living in the cab driver's house for about a month.
Meanwhile, she met Vishal Shinde (age 21) from Nashik on social media. Due to this introduction, a love relationship developed between the two. Due to this, accused Riya went to Nashik to meet Vishal. But Mayat Pandey wanted Riya to live with him. He pressurized Riya regarding this. On March 31, Sanjay Pandey brought both of them to Navi Mumbai.
On the night of April 1, Sanjay Pandey captured the couple's romance on his mobile phone. Sanjay Pandey demanded physical pleasure from Riya by threatening to make the video viral. Accused Riya has claimed that for this reason Riya and Vishal killed Sanjay Pandey by hitting him on the head with a hammer. Police have arrested both of them. Police is further investigating the incident.
