Tahawwur Rana News: The person who caused the bloody game in Mumbai is now in India's clutches. India dragged terrorist Tahawwur Rana from across the seven seas. When we and you were sleeping, the mastermind of the 26/11 attack, Tahawwur Rana, was making rounds of the Indian court. Yes, Tahawwur Rana was arrested by the NIA as soon as he was extradited from America to India. Late on Thursday night, the NIA presented terrorist Rana in the Patiala House Court. Now the court has sent terrorist Tahawwur Rana on 18-day remand. This means that in 18 days, all the secrets of the 26/11 attack will be extracted from Rana. So let's know what happened till late night.

 

1. Tahawwur Rana arrived in India from America on Thursday evening by a special flight. As soon as he arrived in India, the NIA arrested him at the airport itself. After this, his medical test was done and he was produced in the Patiala House Court amid tight security.

2. In Patiala House Court, NIA sought 20 days remand of Tahawwur Rana. However, the court approved 18 days remand. Now NIA has 18 days to make him reveal the secret of Mumbai attack.

 

3. Terrorist Tahawwur Rana will remain in NIA custody for 18 days. NIA will seek answers from him to all the questions like who played what role in Mumbai attack, how Pakistan supported him, what was the motive of the terrorist, how Headley supported him.

 

4. Tahawwur Rana's first night was spent wandering around. He stayed at the NIA headquarters for some time. Then he was produced at the Patiala House Court. Late night he was again sent to remand. Right now he is again at the NIA headquarters. That is, his first night was spent sometimes in the court, sometimes on the road and sometimes at the NIA headquarters.

 

5. Bringing terrorist Tahawwur Rana to India is a big success. Now every truth of the conspiracy of Mumbai attacks will come out. 6. Terrorist Rana is a 64-year-old Canadian citizen of Pakistani origin. Rana is said to be close to David Coleman Headley alias Dawood Gilani, the main conspirator of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Headley is an American citizen. Rana was brought to India after the US Supreme Court rejected his review petition against extradition on April 4.

 

7. The NIA had sought 20 days of custody for questioning Rana, citing crucial evidence including several emails. The agency told the court that Rana's interrogation was necessary to unearth the larger conspiracy behind the 2008 attacks. It also told the court that his role as a conspirator of the attacks had to be investigated.

 

8. NIA said that accused number 1 David Coleman Headley, under criminal conspiracy, had discussed the entire conspiracy with terrorist Rana before his visit to India. NIA told the court that Headley feared that he might have to face many challenges. Therefore, he sent an email to Rana giving details of his belongings and property. NIA further said that Headley had also informed Rana about the involvement of Pakistani citizens Ilyas Kashmiri and Abdur Rahman. Both of them are also accused in this case.

 

9. Senior advocate Dayan Krishnan and special public prosecutor Narendra Mann represented the NIA in the court. Before the proceedings began, the judge asked Rana if he had a lawyer? After this, terrorist Rana said that he did not have a lawyer. After this, the judge told him that a lawyer was being provided to him by the Delhi Legal Services Authority.

10. After this, advocate Piyush Sachdeva was appointed to represent terrorist Tahawwur Rana. Before terrorist Rana was brought to the Patiala House Court, the Delhi Police removed media persons and common people from the premises citing security reasons.
