Prabhu Deva and his ex-wife Ramlath went their separate ways 14 years back. The duo had to go through a messy divorce in 2011 which came under public glare. After parting ways both kept quiet on their decisions. However after 14 years Ramlath has finally opened up on the matter. In a recent interview with the Tamil YouTube channel Aval Vikatan Ramlath talked about her son Rishi Raghavendra Deva’s debut stage performance where he shared space with his dad Prabhu Deva. She said that as a mother it was a proud moment for her watching her son doing well in his career. Talking about Prabhu Devas connection with his kids Ramlath said “His children are his life. She said that Prabhu makes sure to do things that his kids truly enjoy. She further added “He is very attached to both of them. They are a father and son who talk to each other no matter what. She revealed that though they have parted ways Prabhu has always been there for her especially when it comes to supporting their kids. Ramlath said that the famous actor continues to take responsibility as a father. Talking about her existing relationship with Prabhu Deva Ramlath said that after their separation he’s always stayed respectful and never said anything negative about her. She said “I would be angry with him if he said anything bad about me after we broke up. He never said a single word about me. I wouldn’t say anything bad about someone like that. Prabhu Deva and Ramlaths marriage started to fall apart when Prabhu Deva started a live-in relationship with actress Nayanthara. Ramlath never wanted to give up and as a result she knocked the door of the court and even filed a petition in hopes of rekindling their marriage. Prabhu Deva and Ramlaths divorce took an ugly turn and many even called Nayanthara a homebreaker.
