Man Consumes Poison At Live-In Partner's Home, Dies At Hospital

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A middle-aged man took his own life by consuming a poisonous substance in Bag Sewania police station area on Friday night. The man’s daughter has raised suspicion of foul play, alleging that her father was killed by his live-in partner.

According to reports, Raju Jadhav, 65, a resident of Amrai, worked as a bus conductor at a private school. After the death of his wife, Raju had been in a long-term live-in relationship with a woman. However, his children, including his daughter, disapproved of this relationship.

Jadhav’s daughter, Arti, said that her father had been living with her for the past ten days. On Friday, he went to meet his live-in partner again, and after returning to her home, his health rapidly deteriorated.

He was rushed to Hamidia Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment. Arti accused her father’s live-in partner of poisoning him, leading to his death.

However, the station in-charge of Bag Sewania, Amit Soni, staid that preliminary investigation suggested the man had consumed poison himself due to depression while he was with his live-in partner.
