If you want to get a job in Railways, then there is good news for you. Recruitment has come out for bumper posts in Railways. For which candidates can apply by visiting the official site.

A golden opportunity has come up for the youth preparing for government jobs. Indian Railways has released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) on 9900 posts and the application process for this has started today, 10 April 2025.

Candidates who are dreaming of a job in Railways can now apply online by visiting the official website of RRB. Note, applications will be accepted only through online mode. Forms sent offline or in any other form will not be valid.

Qualification and age limit

For this recruitment, the candidate must have passed ITI, Diploma or Graduation in the relevant trade from a recognized board or institute. Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years. However, candidates of reserved category (SC, ST, OBC) will be given age relaxation as per the rules. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1 July 2025.

This much application fee will have to be paid

The application fee for General, OBC and EWS category candidates is Rs 500. While SC, ST, PWD and Ex-Serviceman candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 250. Applications without fee will not be accepted.

This is how the selection will be done

Candidates will be selected in three stages CBT-1, CBT-2 and CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test). Candidates successful in all these stages will have to go through the document verification process and finally the eligible candidates will be appointed in the Railways.
