In K-pop, where there's so much fan rumor-mongering, the slightest exchange of words between idols can fuel dating rumors. ITZY member Chaeryeong recently became the subject of such rumors when she was a guest on K-pop soloist Lee Mujin 's show, "LeeMujin Service." But in the latest episode of her own program for Musinsa TV, Chaeryeong brushed off the rumors herself with humor and honesty.

The gossip about her dating began with her appearance on "LeeMujin Service," where she confessed to being "a little under the weather." As Lee Mujin told Chaeryeong when they had their recent reunion on Chaeryeong's show, questions were kept "short and simple" in case of her condition, enabling her to reply with straightforward "yes" or "no" answers. Yet, Chaeryeong's reticence throughout the show resulted in some guessing among viewers that she was shy or even secretly having a crush on the host.

Chaeryeong was prompt to quash these rumors in her show on the 11th of April. Reminiscing over the dating rumors, she yelled out, "But no way!" with Lee Mujin and her fans giggling in amusement. Lee Mujin jokingly retaliated against Chaeryeong's stern denial with a feigned hurt face, teasing, "You didn't have to say that to my face." He also joked that she "sounded like a child trying to defend herself," going on to add, "You were far from sounding logical."
