Renowned actress Neetu Kapoor frequently delights fans of her late husband, Rishi Kapoor, by sharing cherished vintage photographs. This past Sunday was no different.

Neetu reminisced about their past by posting a nostalgic black-and-white image of herself alongside Rishi Kapoor on her Instagram Stories, marking the anniversary of their engagement.

“Engaged on this day in 1979 (two hearts emoji) time flies,” she wrote as a caption for the touching post.

The black-and-white snapshot captures the youthful couple smiling while gazing away from the camera. Neetu and Rishi tied the knot on January 22, 1980, and were blessed with two children: Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and the acclaimed actor Ranbir Kapoor. During the 70s and 80s, they appeared in numerous successful films together, including Amar Akbar Anthony, Khel Khel Mein, Rafoo Chakkar, Kabhi Kabhie, and Besharam, leaving a lasting impact on audiences with their captivating on-screen and off-screen love story.

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 67, following a courageous two-year fight against leukaemia.
