Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for the Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Skill Test. Candidates can download the admit card from the direct link given in the news below.
Staff Selection Commission i.e. SSC has released the admit cards for 2024 Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Skill Test. The admit card has been released on the official website. Candidates who have qualified in the first stage can now check and download their hall ticket through the official website ssc.gov.in. The skill test is scheduled to be held on 16 and 17 April 2025, which will be conducted at examination centers across the country.
The SSC Stenographer Skill Test is designed to assess the candidate's shorthand and transcription abilities in English or Hindi. During the exam, candidates are given a 10-minute dictation, which they have to transcribe on the computer within a given time limit. For Stenographer Grade C, the required shorthand speed is 100 words per minute in English and 80 words per minute in Hindi.
For Grade D, the expected speed is 80 words per minute in English and 65 words per minute in Hindi. The transcription time varies depending on the grade and the language chosen. Candidates opting for Grade D in English are allotted 50 minutes (70 minutes if using a scribe), while those opting for Hindi get 65 minutes (90 minutes with scribe). For Grade C, the English transcription must be completed in 40 minutes (55 minutes with scribe) and Hindi in 55 minutes.
