The company's new Shepard rocket is today leaving for space with six women under a special mission. This makes this mission special, its all -women crew, which has all astronaut women.
Famous pop singer Katy Perry is part of this mission and shared a video on his Instagram and gave a glimpse of this exciting journey. Perry, wearing a blue space suit, showed the scene inside the capsule in which training was also given.
Perry pointed to her seat, saying, “This is my seat, seat number two. I will visit space by sitting on it. My mission name is – Feather.”
In the video, Katy Perry says, “We are going to space for the first time. And this is the first mission that includes only women. It was my dream and I believe that believing in dreams makes them realize.”
Perry wrote in the video caption, “I was dreaming of going to space for 15 years, and now that dream is going to be fulfilled.”
This NS-31 mission of Blue Origin is considered the most special mission ever. According to the company, this is their 11th mand spaceflight, but the first time since 1963 is that only women's team is being sent space.
