In a shocking incident, a man killed his pregnant wife following an argument in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. She was eight months pregnant. The incident took place in Uda Colony, PM Palem, reports NDTV.
According to police, the deceased, identified as Anusha, 27, and accused Gyaneshwararguedt on Monday morning, following which the man strangled her, and she fell unconscious.
He then rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared dead, as per police. Gyaneshwar later surrendered before the police.
The man ran a fast-food joint near the Scouts and Sagarnagar viewpoint in Andhra Pradesh.
Police said that the couple had a love marriage and reportedly often ran into fights over differences.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, a nd a case against the accused has been registered.
