The online application process for Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment (Railway ALP 2025 Vacancy) has been started by Indian Railways from 12th April 2025. To participate in this recruitment, candidates must have passed ITI with 10th from a recognized board/institute or the candidate must have obtained a diploma in engineering with 10th. Candidates who have obtained engineering degrees are also eligible to apply for this recruitment.
Age
To fill the form for Railway Assistant Loco Pilot posts, the minimum age of the candidate should not be more than 18 years and the maximum age should not be more than 30 years. OBC will be given 3 years of relaxation in upper age and the SC/ST category will be given 5 years of relaxation. Along with this, other reserved categories and ex-servicemen have also been given relaxation in upper age as per rules.

After clicking on the Apply button here, click on Create an Account and register by filling in the required details.
After this, click on Already Have an Account fill in other details, and complete the form.
Finally, submit the form by paying the prescribed fee take a printout of it, and keep it safe.
Application fee
Along with filling out the application form, candidates coming from all other categories will have to deposit Rs 500 as a fee. The application fee for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Transgender/EBC has been fixed at Rs 250.
Recruitment Details
Through this recruitment, appointments will be made on 9970 posts under various zones across the country. For recruitment, the candidates will have to go through five stages - CBT 1, CBT 2, Computer Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).
