Shocking twist in Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, main accused’s fingerprints don’t match

The 1000-page chargesheet filed in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case reveals that the fingerprints taken from Saifs flat after the incident did not match those of the accused Shariful Islam.
Nearly 20 samples were sent to the State CID’s Fingerprint Bureau of which 19 did not match the accused’s fingerprints. The sliding door of the bedroom and the cupboard door bore no fingerprints matching Shariful’s. Notably the only fingerprint that matched the accused was recovered from the eighth floor of the building.
The Mumbai Police last week filed a chargesheet in the Metropolitan Magistrate Court in connection with the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case. The chargesheet reportedly 1000 pages long contains several pieces of evidence against the accused Shariful Islam.
The attack on Saif Ali Khan occurred on January 16 when accused allegedly attempting a robbery broke into the actor’s Bandra residence. During the incident Khan was severely injured suffering damage to his thoracic spine and other body parts.
The actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital where he was treated for five days before being discharged on January 21.
