Getting into the dazzling world of Bollywood is a dream of many. But besides the glam and glitz  this industry has tested many people time and again. While a lot of people want to land this dreamy world its not a piece of cake to walk out of it with stardom. Sometimes even after having good looks working opposite blockbuster stars walking on glamorous runways and even representing India on an international stage some actors fail to make a mark. One such example of this is Pooja Batra- Miss India International 1993 and one of the most recognizable faces in Indian modeling during the ’90s. Being a top-tier name in the fashion world Pooja Batra has walked over 250 ramp shows and ad campaigns. Continuing the legacy Pooja Batras mother also participated in the Miss India pageant and she followed her footsteps and represented India on the International stage. Speaking of her acting career trajectory She made her debut in 1997 alongside Anil Kapoor in Virasat and went on to star in notable films like Haseena Maan Jaayegi Nayak Bhai Talaash and Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye. She shared the screen with superstars like Govinda Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Shetty—but somehow the spotlight never stayed on her for long. After getting married Pooja Batra said Goodbye to the entertainment industry and settled abroad. When she came to India after years she made a comeback but this time not on mainstream cinema but instead on OTT. She made her debut in the digital world in 2021 with squad  a zee 5 digital series. This bold move of Pooja Batra had hopes high for her assuming that this might be the second wind her career needs but just look at her other films the OTT show also failed to impress the audience. Recently in an interview Pooja expressed that she was disappointed that she isnt being offered substantial roles If any filmmaker can hear me I just want to say that no one is giving me work after coming back to India. I want to work on good projects” she said. Despite her good looks and undeniable charm Pooja Batras story is a reminder that beneath this glittery world of Bollywood there is way too much hard work and dedication and often disappointments and rejection thats not spoken about.
