Solar Panel Subsidy: The Government of India has started many schemes for the general public, which the "PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme" recently announced by PM Modi is prominent. Target to benefit 1 crore families-
This scheme was launched by PM Modi on 13 February 2024. Its purpose is to provide free electricity to homes in the country. Under this scheme, families will have to install solar panels on their roofs, for which the government will give subsidies. This subsidy will cover up to 50 percent of the cost of solar panels. The scheme aims to benefit 1 crore families across India. Under the free electricity scheme, the central government will invest Rs 75,000 crore.

- The annual income of the house should be less than 8 lakhs.

After this, choose the name of your state and electricity distribution company. Then enter your electricity consumer number, mobile number, and email. After this, a new page will open, in which you log in by entering your consumer number and mobile. After this, your form will open, which you can fill easily. After this process, you will get feasibility approval, after which you will be able to get the plant installed from any vendor registered with your income.
Will you get this much subsidy?
Under this scheme, first of all, you must have electricity bills for the last six months. Under the new Solar Rooftop Scheme, consumers can be given a subsidy of Rs 30,000 per kilowatt for up to three kilowatts and Rs 18,000 per kilowatt for connections above 3 kilowatts.
