On the strength of Yuzvendra Chahal's brilliant bowling, Punjab Kings created history in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Chahal snatched victory from the jaws of KKR by taking 4 wickets for 28 runs. By taking two wickets in two consecutive balls, Chahal dashed KKR's hopes of victory. With this, Punjab created history by defending the lowest score in IPL history. Chahal's excellent bowling has made his rumored girlfriend RJ Mahvash overjoyed. Mahvash has expressed her happiness on social media and praised Chahal. Mahvash and Chahal have been spotted together for the last few days. Mahvash is reaching the stadium these days to watch Chahal's match.

RJ Mahvash posted a photo of Yuzvendra Chahal in his Instagram story and wrote, 'What a talented man. There is a reason for taking the most wickets in IPL!!! Impossible!' Chahal returned to form, taking four wickets for 28 runs in a low-scoring match of IPL T20, giving KKR a memorable 16-run win over Punjab Kings in Mullanpur, Chandigarh. After restricting Punjab Kings to 111 runs in 15.3 overs, KKR was heading towards an easy victory by scoring 60 runs for two wickets in seven overs. But after this, Chahal shook the middle order of KKR and gave Punjab a thrilling win. KKR's team was all out for 95 runs in 15.1 overs. This is only the fifth time in the IPL when both the teams were all out.

RJ Mahesh praised Chahal.

With this, Punjab Kings have made the record of successfully defending the lowest score in IPL. Earlier, the lowest score was defended by Chennai Super Kings in 2009 by scoring 116 runs against Kings XI Punjab. For Punjab, Marco Jansen also took three wickets while Arshdeep, Xavier Bartlett, and Glenn Maxwell got one wicket each. For KKR, Angkrish Raghuvanshi played an innings of 37 runs in 28 balls and shared a 55-run partnership for the third wicket with captain Ajinkya Rahane (17) to lay the foundation for victory, but after the partnership broke, the team lost the last seven wickets within 23 runs.

Earlier, Punjab Kings were all out for 111 in 15.3 overs from 39 runs without loss in which Harshit Rana took three wickets for 25 runs while Varun Chakraborty and Sunil Narayan took two wickets each. Punjab captain Shreyas Iyer's strategy of winning the toss and batting first on his home ground backfired as all his batsmen except openers Priyansh Arya (22) and Prabhsimran Singh (30) struggled on their home ground. Apart from the duo, only Nehal Wadhera (10), Shashank Singh (18), and Xavier Bartlett (11) could score in double figures.
