Sung Il-Hwan – The Reborn Hero and Jinwoo’s father

Sung Il-Hwan is Jinwoo’s father and one of the first hunters to awaken in Korea. He disappeared during a dungeon break 10 years ago but returned with powers from the Rulers. After coming back, he defeated an S-Rank hunter, Hwang Dongsu, easily, even destroying buildings in the process. Later, when Jinwoo was injured by the Monarchs, Il-Hwan fought them both at the same time and managed to hurt them. He may not have had a big role in the beginning, but by the end, he proves to be a true hero and one of the most powerful hunters in the story.


Thomas Andre – The Goliath of America

Thomas Andre is known as the most powerful Tank-class hunter in the world. He leads the Scavenger Guild in the United States and is one of the five National-Level hunters . His physical strength is unmatched, and during his fight with Sung Jinwoo, he broke through Jinwoo’s shadow soldiers and even resisted powerful magic attacks. Thomas also fought Kamish, the strongest dragon ever, and survived after being badly injured. As a Vessel of the Rulers, he can use Ruler’s Authority and Spiritualization, which makes him even tougher. Thomas may have lost to Jinwoo, but he is still one of the most dangerous hunters on Earth.


Liu Zhigang – China’s top-ranked hunter

Liu Zhigang is the strongest hunter in China and is known as a 7-Star hunter, even though the usual scale only goes up to 5. Unfortunately, we do not see him fight much in the manhwa. He was attacked by three Monarchs at once and defeated before he could show his full power. Even so, his reputation shows he was among the best.
