But now according to the information received from the government, lakhs of women are going to get a big shock in this. 8 lakh women taking benefit in this scheme of Maharashtra government will now get only 500 instead of 1500 rupees in the scheme. The government has fixed eligibility to take benefit in the scheme.

In which mainly five criteria have been fixed. In this, the age of women should be between 18 years to 65 years. She should be a resident of the state. The annual income of the family should not be more than 2.5 lakhs. There should be a car in the house and no member should be in a government job. If someone is taking benefit of any other scheme, then the total of both the schemes should not exceed Rs 1500.

This is the reason why the money is being reduced

Actually, the Maharashtra government is scrutinizing the women taking benefit in these schemes. Under which there are 8 lakh women who are already taking benefit of Rs 1000 through Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi (NSMN). Now in such a situation, instead of Rs 1500, these women will be given only Rs 500 in the Majhi Ladki Behan Yojana. Because the total of both the schemes should not exceed Rs 1500.
