Flight operations at Noida International Airport will start this month, according to the airport’s announced opening date

Project Update for Noida International Airport: Construction is moving quickly at the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The airport is being inspected by Yamuna International Airport Limited (YIAPL) and Noida International Airport (NIAL). According to rumors, the airport’s construction will be finished by the end of May, and flights are expected to start running in the first week of June. Manish Kumar Verma, the DM of Gautam Buddh Nagar, visited the airport’s building site on Tuesday.

DM of Gautam Buddh Nagar Construction Work Inspected by Manish Kumar Verma, DM On Tuesday, Manish Kumar Verma arrived at Noida Airport for an examination. The DM examined the National Highway Authority of India’s (NHAI) preparation of an emergency route for the airport that was 8 km long and 30 m wide. The DM instructed the authorities to speed up the road building after reviewing the NHAI’s previous efforts. He also gave the NHAI personnel instructions to do the task before the deadline.

Large-scale project for the government of Uttar Pradesh
YIAPL, a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, is developing the airport, which is a high-profile project for the Uttar Pradesh government. Beginning on October 1, 2021, YIAPL has a 40-year concession contract to operate the airport.

The airport’s first phase was originally scheduled to open on September 29, 2024; however, the dates were changed to April 17 of this year.
