New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan and actress Sagarika Ghatge have embraced parenthood for the first time. The couple welcomed a baby boy and announced his arrival on Wednesday through a heartfelt social media post. They have named their son Fatehsinh Khan.
The announcement came with an adorable black-and-white family portrait that instantly won over the internet. In the photo, Zaheer is seen cradling their newborn in his lap, while Sagarika gently wraps her hands around her husband’s shoulders — a tender moment captured in monochrome elegance.
The couple’s caption read: “With love, gratitude and divine blessings we welcome our precious little baby boy, Fatehsinh Khan.”

Sagarika and Zaheer, who tied the knot in 2017, have often kept their relationship low-key. However, Sagarika recently opened up about how their love story began — and it wasn’t exactly love at first sight.
In a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sagarika revealed that Zaheer was initially too shy to strike up a conversation. “I think we kept meeting and he wouldn’t even talk to me at first because everyone used to say, ‘You know, she’s that kind of girl,’” she recalled, adding that people perceived her as someone who shouldn’t be approached unless one was “really serious.”
Interestingly, actor Angad Bedi turned out to be the cupid in this slow-burn romance. “Angad Bedi also played a very important role in bringing us together,” she added, crediting him for nudging the two closer. The couple made their relationship official at Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s wedding in 2016 before tying the knot the following year in an intimate ceremony.
