In a major move to strengthen air connectivity in the National Capital Region (NCR) the Air India Express will operate direct flights from the Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh to three major key cities across the country-- Varanasi in UP Bihar capital Patna and Rajasthans Pink City Jaipur.
As per reports Air India has obtained permission to operate flights to Patna Varanasi and Jaipur from Ghaziabads Hindon Airport and is taking bookings for flights which will commence from May 1 2025.
Flight timings fares for Varanasi Jaipur Patna from Hindon Airport
Varanasi will be the first city in Uttar Pradesh to be connected to the Hindon Airport and the maiden flight will depart from Varanasi airport at 11:05 AM arriving at Ghaziabads Hindon Airport at 11:40 am on May 1. The return flight will depart from from Ghaziabad at 1:35 pm and arrive in Varanasi at 3:10 pm according to an official statement released by Air India Express.
Fares for the Varanasi-Ghaziabad route start at Rs 3400 apiece.
The maiden flight from Patna airport will take off at 11:50 am and arrive at the Hindon airport at 1:40 pm while the return flight will depart from Ghaziabad 2:25 pm and reach Patna at 4:10 pm. Ticket prices begin at Rs 4000.
The first flight towards Jaipur Airport in Rajasthan will depart from the Hindon Airport at 7:30 AM on May 1 and arrive at its destination at 8:40 am. The return journey from Jaipur will commence at 9:25 am and the flight will land at Hindon Airport at 10:35 am. Flight tickets are being offered at Rs 2100 apiece.
With the addition of the three more cities the number of destinations connected to the Hindon Airport will increase to 15. Earlier in March the Air India Express started commercial flight services to seven cities.
Meanwhile flights from Hindon Airport to Jammu city have been cancelled for the past week due to unknown reasons. As per reports Air India Express has stopped taking bookings for Jammu even as there has been no official statement issued in this regard as of yet.
