Despite having a big superstar the movie proved to be a flop in terms of earnings. The name of that film is Yuvvraaj.
The family-drama film Yuvvraaj was released in theatres in the year 2008. Big stars like Salman Khan Katrina Kaif and Anil Kapoor were seen in lead roles. Zayed Khan Mithun Chakraborty Boman Irani and Anjan Srivastava were seen in supporting roles. The film was directed by Subhash Ghai.
Subhash Ghai has made memorable and superhit films like Pardes Khalnayak Hero Karma Ram Lakhan in his career. But he failed in the case of Yuvvraaj. The audience did not like its story and this was the reason why the film became a disaster. Even Salman Khan could not save the film from flopping at the box office.

After its release in theatres Salman Khans Yuvvraaj received mixed reviews from critics. The film even failed to attract the audience. Yuvvraaj could not even recover its cost at the box office. This movie was made at a huge cost in that era.
According to the report of trade website Saknilk Rs 45 crore was spent in making the film Yuvraj. The film grossed Rs 22.50 crore in India. The total earnings of the film worldwide were only Rs 28.82 crore. The verdict of the film at the box office is a disaster.
