Agartala: According to a statement, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha gave the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police in each district instructions to visit their respective districts on a monthly basis, act quickly to address any shortcomings, and address any issues that come up.

“The District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police of each district should visit the areas regularly every month along with district-level officers of other departments and take initiatives to resolve the problems of the people,” said Chief Minister Saha.

DMs and SPs were instructed by CM Saha, the state’s home minister, to address any shortcomings and problems as soon as they occur.

Through a video conference conducted at the Secretariat today, the Chief Minister went over in detail the state’s general development work, law and order, and public grievance concerns with the state’s eight district superintendents of police and district magistrates.

Saha provided the district administration with the required guidance during the discussion on how to promptly address public complaints, development-related concerns, and other issues.

Additionally, he placed a strong priority on prosecuting drug traffickers and others engaged in similar operations.

He gave the police superintendents instructions to pinpoint drug-ridden neighborhoods, compile a list of those engaged in criminal activity within each district’s police station area, and pursue appropriate legal action.

Health, drinking water, education, law and order, roads, anti-drug policies, and taking firm action against illicit activity in a number of sectors were among the topics that were thoroughly reviewed at today’s review meeting.

The CM underlined that the various authorities must take the required actions to regulate traffic, mosquitoes, and the drinking water supply in Agartala city.
