NTA released the notification of UGC NET in June 2025. Along with this, the application portal has also opened. Candidates can apply to appear in the exam from today i.e. 16th April, the last date of application has been kept as 7th May. Candidates will get one more day i.e. till 8th May to deposit the fee. The tentative date for conducting the UGC NET June 2025 examination has been stated between 21st June to 30th June. Applications can be made by visiting https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in / www.nta.ac.in.
Candidates have been waiting for the date of the UGC NET June 2025 examination for the last several days. According to the notification issued by NTA, the University Grants Commission has handed over the responsibility of the exam to the National Examination Agency. According to the notification, information about the date of release of the admit card, city, and center will be given later.

Date to apply for UGC NET June 2025: 16 April to 07 May 11:59 pm
Last date to deposit exam fee: 8 May at 11:59 pm
Date to correct errors in online application form: 09 May to 10 May 2025
When will the city of the examination center be announced: Information about this will be given later
When will the admit card be downloaded from the NTA website: Information will be given later
When will the UGC NET exam be held: Between 21 June 2025 to 30 June 2025 (this is the expected date)
This much will be the fee
For UGC NET June 2025, general category candidates will have to deposit a fee of Rs 1150. General candidates of the EWS category and OBC candidates will have to deposit a fee of Rs 650. Apart from this, this fee has been fixed at Rs 325 for ST-SC PWD, and third-gender candidates.
Important instructions for candidates
Candidates can apply online for the UGC NET-2025 exam at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Applications filled through any other medium will not be accepted.
If the candidate fills out more than one application form, it will be rejected.
All the candidates have to strictly follow the guidelines given on the NTA website. If this is not done, the candidate will be disqualified.
