The Delhi High Court reprimanded a school located in Dwarka and said that such a school deserves to be closed. The court reprimanded the school for locking the students in the library for fees and not allowing them to attend classes.
Shocking news has come out from the national capital Delhi. The Delhi High Court reprimanded the 'Delhi Public School' located in Dwarka for inhuman acts like locking the students in the library for fees and not allowing them to attend classes. Along with this, the court also said that such a school deserves to be closed. Judge Sachin Dutta said that the school which treats the students as 'objects' should be closed. The court said that some security measures should be taken to ensure that the students are not 'tortured' by the school, which is running the institution only as a 'money making machine'. Amidst the dramatic scene, many students were present during the court proceedings in their school uniforms with books and bags. The students were accompanied by their parents.
The report revealed a 'worrisome situation' in the school.
The judge said, "I am concerned, you behaved in a cheap and inhuman manner with the students. Inability to pay the fees does not give the school a license to behave indecently with the students." The parents of such students alleged that the school administration harassed their children for not paying the 'unauthorized fee'. The court said that the report of the investigation committee revealed a 'worrisome situation' in the school.
