Today we’re going to tell you about an actor who entered the industry after Salman Khan Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan but quickly rose to fame both in the industry and among the audience. People started copying his style and girls went crazy over his every move. One film turned him into an overnight star but then fate took such a turn that his entire career fell apart. You guessed it right that star is none other than Rahul Roy who entered Hindi cinema in 1990 and became an overnight sensation with the film Aashiqui. Anu Agarwal starred alongside him in the film and both were well-received by the audience. The success of Aashiqui made Rahul a household name. After that some of his hit films included Pyaar Ka Saaya and Junoon. At the age of 26 Rahul was even considered a bigger star than Salman and Aamir. At that time Shah Rukh Khan had not even stepped into the film industry. In the mid-90s Rahuls luck turned. He rejected many big films including Yash Chopras Darr which made Shah Rukh Khan a major star. At the same time many of his films turned out to be flops.
