On Thursday, Congress members protested the Enforcement Directorate’s chargesheet against Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, two prominent party leaders, at the Aligarh collectorate. Party members protested the ED’s conduct by holding banners and yelling slogans.

The national government was accused by the protesting Congress leaders of targeting opposition figures in advance of the next elections by abusing investigative agencies such as the ED and CBI. They said that the chargesheet was a part of a wider harassing practice and was politically motivated.

“Despite this, the BJP government is conducting raids, sometimes by the CBI and sometimes by the ED,” they told reporters, “but we Congress workers are not going to be afraid.”

In protest over the Directorate of Enforcement’s chargesheet against its leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi in the National Herald case, Telangana Pradesh Congress committee representatives demonstrated outside the agency’s Hyderabad headquarters on Thursday.

After seeing the ascent of a “young leader” in Rahul Gandhi, Telangana Minister Ponnam Prabhakar told ANI that the BJP is trying to harm his reputation.

“The Gandhi family could have done whatever they wanted since they had been in power for so long, but they refrained from committing such frauds. PM Modi is handing over the nation’s properties to Adani and Ambani today, but we haven’t taken any action along these lines. It attempts to undermine the Congress when the BJP falters. The nation’s citizens support the Gandhi family, despite the fact that it’s all a political scheme, Prabhakar said.

at the purported National Herald case, the Enforcement Directorate filed a prosecution complaint (chargesheet) against Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and other defendants at Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday. The action was sharply criticised by Congress, who called it “politically motivated.”
