Major UK banks closing branches over Easter weekend including HSBC, TSB and Barclays

Major have confirmed they are shutting branches over the Easter bank holiday weekend. The weekend often throws a spanner in the works as businesses, retailers, and adjust their opening hours to reflect the holidays.

There are two holidays over Easter and these are Good Friday and Easter Monday - on top of a public holiday on Easter Sunday. Anyone planning to visit their bank or building society branch over the Easter weekend should double-check opening times as they also often shake things up over the long weekend.

The majority of firms will shut their doors on Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and Easter Monday. However, branches that typically open on Saturdays will be open as normal, since it's not a public holiday. Barclays
