Bhopal: A man was allegedly killed by his minor wife and her lover's friend in Madhya Pradesh's Burhanpur. The man was stabbed to death by a bear bottle just four months after his marriage.
In Madhya Pradesh's Burhanpur, Golden Pandey alias Rahul (25) was stabbed 36 times, reported NDTV. The incident took place near the ITI college on the Indore-Ichapur highway.
Rahul, along with his wife, had gone for shopping and eating at a restaurant. While returning, the wife said that she had dropped her slippers and asked Rahul to halt the two-wheeler.
As Rahul stopped his two-vehicle, he was cornered by two men, who were the friends of the woman's lover, Yuvraj. Burhanpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Devendra Patidar told the news channel.
The two friends, along with the teenage girl, dragged Rahul and stabbed him 36 times with a broken beer bottle, Patidar said, adding that Rahul died on the spot. As per the report, the girl is17 years oldd.
Following this, the girl made a video call to her lover to show him the bo.y, The three then threw Rahul's dead body in a nearby field and fled the spot.
The body was found by the Police on April 13. After Rahul's family identified the body and said that he was last seen with his wife as they went out together, the police launched a probe.
Suspicion grew as the girl was missing. All four accused - the girl, her lover and his two friends - have been caught and have confessed to the crime. They have been charged with murder, conspiracy to murder and hiding evidence.
