In yet another crime incident in Delhi, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in the Seelampur area on Thursday evening. As per an official, the incident took place at around 7:38 pm in J-Block of the region and the victim was identified as Kunal. The shocking attack allegedly occurred just 100 meters from his home while he had stepped out to buy milk. After carrying out the assault, the attackers fled the scene. The victim was found critically injured and was immediately rushed to JPC Hospital for emergency medical care. However, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment, the official confirmed.
Eyewitnesses and locals claimed that the accused belong to a specific community, adding to the tension in the area. The gruesome murder triggered outrage among the residents, who took to the streets, blocked roads and staged a protest. As soon as authorities were alerted, a team from Seelampur Police Station reached the hospital to gather details and begin their investigation. A crime team was also called to inspect the scene of the incident. What has now taken a worrying turn is the appearance of "Hindu Exodus" posters in several streets of a Muslim-majority locality. In a disturbing sign of fear and unrest, Hindu families in the area have begun putting up posters outside their homes declaring their intention to leave. The messages read: "Hindu Palayan, Ye Makaan Bikau Hai, Yogi Ji" (Hindu Exodus, This House Is for Sale, Yogi Ji). Locals say the posters express not just frustration but a sense of helplessness and insecurity that's gripped many families after the incident.
