In a dramatic moment during the 33rd match of IPL 2025 between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium, Zeeshan Ansari was cruelly denied his first IPL wicket due to a no-ball. Just after building pressure with three dot balls, Ryan Rickelton attempted to break free but ended up offering a catch to Pat Cummins at cover. It looked like Ansari had struck gold with his maiden wicket — but drama followed.

The fourth umpire intervened and ruled it a no-ball after noticing that wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen had collected the ball with his gloves marginally ahead of the stumps. As a result, Rickelton survived, and to make things worse for SRH, a free-hit followed.

Rickelton, who seemed visibly frustrated before the delivery, was handed a lifeline. Ansari looked gutted, wearing a sulken expression after being denied the breakthrough. The moment added a twist to what has otherwise been a tight chase by the Mumbai Indians.
