Maharashtra: A bus carrying pilgrims from Nashik to Shirdi collided with a parked truck, injuring a total of 35 people.

Buldhana: Police authorities said Friday that a bus carrying devotees headed for ‘Dev Darshan’ from Nashik to Shirdi collided with a parked vehicle in Buldhana, resulting in 35 injuries overall, including 10 hospital admissions.

Three persons are in serious condition, according to Sandeep Kale, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the Malkapur rural police station.

According to Civil Hospital General Surgeon Dr. Ananta Magar, the devotees traveled from Andhra Pradesh for the darshan.

Ten individuals have been brought to Buldhana Civil Hospital for treatment. “A bus carrying Andhra Pradesh devotees traveling to Shirdi and Nashik for Dev Darshan crashed, injuring 35 people,” the doctor informed the media.

Maruthi Harihar, 40, died in an accident that occurred earlier on April 16 in Kerala as a bus carrying followers of Lord Ayyappa was in motion.

The disaster happened in the Keralan district of Pathanamthitta, in the hamlet of Kanamala, close to Erumeli. Forty-two devotees were reportedly on the bus.
