SSC Important Notice: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to implement Aadhaar-based biometric authentication in its upcoming examinations. This step has been taken to make the examination process simple and secure. Under this, candidates will now get the opportunity to authenticate their identity through Aadhaar while applying for the exam registering online, and appearing at the examination center.

Authentication on a voluntary basis
This Aadhaar-based authentication will be voluntary, that is, the candidates will have the option to choose it. The Commission believes that this system will increase transparency in the examination process and provide a safe and convenient way for the candidates.

Will be implemented in all SSC examinations from May
This system will be implemented in all SSC examinations starting from May 2025. The Commission has also said that this step will help the candidates to protect themselves from any kind of fraud during the examination and confirm their identity.

Online applications for Havildar Recruitment 2025 and Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Exam 2025 in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Central Bureau of Narcotics may start soon. Apart from this, SSC has also informed that the revised exam calendar will be published on the commission's website soon.
