Wipro: Wipro showed power, net profit increased by 26% to Rs 3,569.6 crore in March quarter

New Delhi : Wipro, one of the most important company in the IT sector, has recently released its quarterly results. Wipro increased by 25.9 percent to Rs 3,569.6 crore during the quarter of January to March of the last financial year. However, the company has laid down an alert to be weak for the quarter coming from IT services in the first quarter of the current financial year due to global uncertainties.

Wipro's Chief Executive Officer i.e. CEO and Managing Director i.e. MD Srin Palia said that customers remain alert due to broad economical uncertainty. He assured that Wipro is focusing on strown partnership with him, while his eyes are on continuity and edge.

In the last few weeks, the US has shook the global markets continuously and the steps of cuts in tariffs and many IT experts are afraid that the process of making IT decisions may adversely affect the process of making IT decisions due to a sharp trade war and a potential recession in the American economy or may reduce technology in special sector.

A large part of a total of $ 280 billion IT service company comes from American customers. At the conference held for the announcement of Wipro's quarterly figures on Wednesday, Palia admitted that the recent tariff announcements have further enhanced global uncertainties. He has said that the atmosphere of the global industry was uncertain most of the year and, of course, recently tariff announcements have increased it further. Even though the underlying demand for the new invention of technology remains strong, our customers are adopting it more carefully.

In the same quarter of FY 2023-24, the company's net profit was Rs 2,834.6 crore to the company's share holders. The company earned Rs 22,504.2 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2024-25, which is a slight increase of Rs 1.33 percent from Rs 22,208.3 crore for the same quarter of FY 2023-24. The third quarter of the last financial year i.e. October to December has led to a 6.43 percent increase in the company's net profit, and the income has increased by 0.83 percent.

The company said in the information to the stock market that its net profit for the entire financial year 2024-25 increased by 18.9 percent to Rs 13,135.4 crore. However, the company's income fell 0.74 percent to Rs 89,088.4 crore during this period.

The company with the Bangalore headquarters said that for the first financial year i.e. the first of 2025-26 i.e. April to June quarter, the company estimates that its revenue from the IT service business will fall from 1.5 percent to 3.5 percent to 3.5 percent to $ 250.5 million to $ 255.7 million. Palia has said that since customers are alert to broad economical uncertainty, we are focusing on strong partnership with them while committed to constantly and profitable edge.

He said that the company achieved 2 major deals in the last financial year, leading to gaining big deals. By the end of the quarter, the number of employees of Wipro was 2,33,346, compared to 2,32,614 at the same time last year.
