ATM in Train: Many times we go on a long journey and think if only there was an ATM in the train too.. There would be no hassle of keeping too much cash and there would be no fear of pickpocketing or theft. In such a situation, whenever needed, we would withdraw cash from the running train itself. But now you will be able to withdraw money from the ATM while traveling on the train. Yes, you may not believe this, but keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers traveling by train, the Railways has made preparations to start ATM service.
ATM will be installed in the train, so withdrawing cash will be easy
Indian Railways has now started a unique initiative for the convenience of passengers. Now cash can be withdrawn even in a running train. This facility has been started on trial mode for now. An ATM has been installed in the Panchvati Express running from Manmad to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT).
Facility to withdraw money during the journey
This new facility will especially provide relief to those passengers who do not make online payments and make all payments in cash. Along with this, this is a relief news for those who used to face problems due to not being able to make online payments on the train or running out of cash. The ATM installed on the train will give them the facility to withdraw money while traveling.
The trial for installing ATMs in trains begins.
During the trial of the ATM to be installed in the train, railway officials are checking whether the ATM can work properly in a moving train or not. Network connectivity, security, privacy, passenger convenience, and other important things are being taken care of. If this trial is successful, then in the future, ATMs can be installed in other trains as well. This will not require passengers to wait till the station to withdraw money when needed.
Travel will become even easier.
This facility will also be beneficial for those who travel long distances and avoid carrying cash. Often there is a fear of pickpocketing or losing cash in trains. In such a situation, people will be able to make travel more safe and comfortable with the onboard ATM.
