New Delhi/Washington. Harpreet Singh, a terrorist living in America, has arrested aka Happy Pasia. The FBI and the US Immigration Department have taken him under its grip. He is responsible for 14 terrorist attacks in Punjab in the last six months. The terrorist is one of the most wanted terrorists in India. He had a reward of 5 lakh rupees. He is currently in custody of ICE (Immigration and Customs Information). According to sources, Happy Pasia along with Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and Babbar Khalsa International carried out terrorist attacks. Happy Pasia carried out several terrorist attacks on Punjab police establishments and took responsibility on social media.
Happy's name was in NIA charge sheet
Earlier on March 23, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) filed a charge sheet against four terrorist operatives of the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist organization in the 2024 Chandigarh Grenade attack case. The accused, who filed the charge sheet, include Pakistan -based individual terrorist Harvinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda and America in the US, Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pasia. Both were the main operators and conspirators behind the terrorist attack. He provided logistics aid, terrorist funds, weapons and ammunition to the ground operatives in Chandigarh to carry out the grenade attack. The objective of the September 2024 attack was to target a retired officer of Punjab Police.
Conspiracy to spread terror among the public
The investigation revealed that Rinda had conspired to spread terror among the enforcement officers and the general public through a grenade attack with Happy Pasia. His aim was to promote BKI's terrorist agenda. He recruited local operatives named Rohan Christ and Vishal Christ, who were tasked to attack under his direct instructions. Investigation revealed that Rinda and Happy had directed the other accused Rohan Christ and Vishal Christ to take the target twice before throwing grenade.
Terrorist module demolished in December last
Earlier in December last year, the Punjab Police demolished the Pakistan-ISI-backed terrorist module operated by Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), which Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pasia and Shamsher alias Honey were running. It also included the arrest of five of its members including Mastermind Abhijot Singh. All were involved in throwing hand grenades at two police establishments in Batala and Gurdaspur.
What incidents were terrorists involved in
1. 23 November, 2024: ID weighing about 1.5 kg was placed outside the Ajnala police station in Amritsar. It is a matter of honor that he was recovered before the explosion occurred.
2. November 29, 2024: Explosion near police checkpost at Gurbaksh Nagar, Amritsar at around 11 pm.
3. December 2, 2024: There was a grenade attack on the Ansar police post in Nawanshahar. However, there was no grenade explosion. He was later deactivated.
4. December 4, 2024: A large grenade explosion at Majitha police station in Amritsar broke the windows, but no one was injured.
5. December 13, 2024: Grenade was allegedly thrown near the entrance of Bangar police station in Ghania in Batala. However, the explosion did not occur.
6. December 17, 2024: At around 3:15 am, there was an explosion near Islamabad police station in Amritsar, causing damage to nearby houses. German gangster Jeevan Fauji, associated with Babbar Khalsa International, took responsibility for the attack.
7. December 18, 2024: Grenade explosion was targeted at Bakshiwala police check post in Kalanaur, Gurdaspur.
8. December 20, 2024: Another grenade explosion occurred at Wadala Bangar Police Czech post in Kalanaur, Gurdaspur.
9. January 9, 2025: Explosion occurred outside Gumtala police post in Amritsar at around 8.45 pm. Initial reports stated that the radiator of a car was torn, but Happy Pasia took responsibility on social media, saying that it was done to avenge the murder of two of his companions in a fake encounter.
10. February 3, 2025: Fatehgarh bangles in Amritsar exploded outside the boundary wall of the police post.
11. February 14, 2025: A policeman's house was targeted at Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur and a low -intensity explosion was done.
12. 15 March 2025: Two bike riders threw grenade near Thakurdwara temple in Amritsar. Police killed one of the accused in the encounter.
13. BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia's house attacked.
14. April 16, 2025: Grenade attack on a YouTuber's house in Punjab.
