A brand-new “Rhino Food Court” was unveiled on Friday to improve the experience of guests at Nehru Zoological Park.

RM Dobriyal, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, gave it its inauguration. According to zoo authorities, Rhino Food Court, a division of Mrugavani Restaurants and Resorts India Pvt Ltd, debuted as part of an effort to improve and elevate the zoo’s standards by incorporating contemporary amenities.

This is one of the Forest Department’s first PPP initiatives, and it has turned out very well. For ten years, the zoo leased the food court to Mrugavani.

The rhinoceros enclosure is next to the food court. More than 300 people may be accommodated there, and visitors can see real wild creatures walking about in their cages. At the food court, guests may now savour their preferred tea, coffee, ice cream, soft drinks, lunch, and snacks.
