Punjab Kings registered their second consecutive win by defeating RCB by five wickets with the help of Nehal Wadhera's brilliant batting. This match between RCB and Punjab started late due to rain and it was decided to make the game 14-14 overs. Punjab won the toss and chose to bowl first which proved to be right. RCB's team could score only 95 runs for nine wickets in 14 overs. In reply, Punjab won the match by scoring 98 runs for five wickets in 12.1 overs. For Punjab, Nehal Wadhera scored an unbeaten 33 runs with the help of three fours and three sixes in 19 balls. Josh Hazlewood took three wickets for RCB, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar got two successes.

Punjab reached second place.
With this win, Punjab's team reached second place in the points table. It has 10 points with five wins and two losses in seven matches. This is RCB's third defeat in seven matches and they are currently in fourth place with eight points after four wins.

Punjab's innings
While chasing the target, Punjab also did not have a good start and they Lost two wickets for 32 runs. Prabhsimran Singh returned to the pavilion after scoring 13 and Priyansh Arya 16 runs. RCB innings

On the back of Tim David's brilliant batting, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has set a target of 96 runs for Punjab Kings to win. Punjab won the toss and decided to bowl in this rain-interrupted match. RCB's batting was very poor, but in the end, David scored an unbeaten 50 off 26 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes, which helped RCB score 95 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 14 overs. The match started late due to rain and it was decided to have 14-14 overs in each innings.

Batting first, RCB had a bad start, and half of its team returned to the pavilion at 33 runs. No RCB batsman could play a big innings and the team's wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Apart from Tim David, only captain Rajat Patidar could reach double figures. Patidar was dismissed after scoring 23 runs off 18 balls with the help of one four and one six. For Punjab, Arshdeep Singh, Marco Jansen, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harpreet Brar took two wickets each, while Xavier Bartlett got one wicket.
