quota: A case has come up from Kota Medical College in Rajasthan, which has raised a big question on the careless system of government hospitals. A person came here to get treatment for his son, but the doctors performed the surgery of him. The attendant sitting outside the operation theater raised his hand only after hearing his name and the doctors made him unconscious and started the operation. By the time the mistake was realized, an incision was made in his hand. Later, he was stitched and seated outside.

The case is to the super specialty block of Kota, where Jagdish, a patient in the cardiothoresic and vascular surgery, was to undergo surgery. But due to the equality of the name, the doctors took another Jagdish, who was attendant, and started preparing to make fistula by taking it to the operation theater. On calling the name, he raised his hand and on this basis he was called inside. Instead of ID investigation, relying only on asking the name would become such a big step, no one had an idea.

Trying to suppress the case

When the mistake was detected, the doctors put stitches without performing the whole process and the person was sent out. The patient's family alleges that the hospital administration tried to hide the whole matter and the matter came to light only after the complaint was filed.

Investigation committee constituted

After the incident was exposed, an inquiry committee has been formed by the Medical College. Although senior doctors of the department have denied the incident, the complainant says that the report and evidence of the entire case are now with the administration and they expect action.
