PhonePe has added two helpful tools under its payments section:

These features allow you to schedule reminders or set up automatic payments for a wide range of services like electricity, water, gas, mobile recharge, broadband, credit card bills, and more.

Follow these easy steps to create a reminder:

• Open the PhonePe app on your mobile.

• Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.

• Scroll down to find Settings & Preferences.

• Tap on Reminders.

• Now click on Add Reminder.

• Fill in details such as:

  • Payment description

  • Amount

  • Recipient/biller

  • Frequency (daily, weekly, monthly)

  • Due date

  • Optional: add a custom note.

• Save the reminder.

Once set, PhonePe will notify you on the selected date so you don’t miss your payment.

For recurring monthly bills, PhonePe’s AutoPay feature ensures payments are deducted automatically—without requiring manual intervention each time.

• Launch the PhonePe app and go to your profile.

• Tap on Payment Settings, then select AutoPay Settings.

• Choose Manage AutoPay.

• Select the biller and choose your preferred payment method (Visa, MasterCard, ICICI, etc.).

• Enter the amount to be deducted and confirm.

That’s it! Your bills will now be paid automatically. Plus, you'll receive a reminder beforehand, so you have the option to pause or modify the payment if needed.
