Ligue 1 Predictions, Round 29
Tezz editor-in-chief Sandy and Tezz’s Raphaël Jucobin face off in our Ligue 1 predictions competition. It’s three points for a correct score, two points for a correct score difference, and one point for a correct result. Who will come out on top at the end of the season?
Raphaël: 168
Luke: 194
PSG weren’t overly convincing in their victory over Le Havre. Luis Enrique has publicly admitted that keeping his players “connected” in Ligue 1 is the difficult task that awaits him in the run-in, given that the title has already been won. The Spanish manager is experimenting a little in the league. Ousmane Dembélé was left out of the 2-1 win over Le Havre in order to give him some much-needed rest with youngsters such as Senny Mayulu playing a role in the win. Willian Pacho also missed out with illness. There could be further experimentation with other key players potentially rested in preparation for the game against Arsenal in one week. Nantes didn’t take anything away from local rivals Rennes last Friday. They are slipping back into the relegation battle and it looks highly unlikely that they will take anything here.
