Traffic is building up on the M25 in Hertfordshire after it was closed clockwise between J25 (Waltham Cross) and J26 (Waltham Abbey) on April 22. Emergency services were in attendance in light of a "police led incident", National Highways said.

The closure sparked eight miles of queues, with a diversion route in place. National Highways is urging motorists to plan ahead and re-route or even delay their journey wherever possible.
