Mumbai: While accusing Pakistan of being behind the Pahalgam terror incident, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde described it as a “conspiracy” and an assault on the nation’s citizens. Shinde said that the Indian Army will “avenge blood with blood and brick with stones,” in contrast to the terrorists who murdered individuals “selectively” and inquired about their religion.
“This occurrence is very regrettable. Pakistan is conspiring to carry out this terrorist strike. This is an assault on Hindustan; it is an assault on fellow citizens. I vehemently oppose it”. Those who have attacked have fired bullets by asking people what their religion is,” the Deputy Chief Minister said during a news conference in Mumbai.
He expressed his ire at the terrorists’ acts and said that India will be “entering Pakistan” in a similar manner to the September 2016 Uri surgical strike.
The weight of their selective killing will fall on our warriors, who will murder them all at once rather than one by one. They will avenge brick with stones and blood with blood. Similar to how the surgical strike was carried out, the new India will invade Pakistan and murder those responsible. Eknath Shinde said, “The HM and the PM will not spare Pakistan, and the Union Home Minister has just arrived.”
In order to remove delayed tourists from Maharashtra, Shinde has asked Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu to set up a special aircraft.
The Union Minister responded to the request by promising Shinde that as soon as the Ministry received the list of stranded people, efforts would be made to get them to Mumbai as soon as possible.
“The latest incident in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, claimed the lives of five Maharashtra visitors. Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu spoke with Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde over the phone about plans to return them to the state. Shinde asked Naidu to set up a special aircraft to return the tourists during the call, according to the statement.
According to the Thane District Information Officer, three of the five people killed in the incident were from the Dombivali neighborhood of the Thane district in the state.
The names of the dead are Atul Mone, Sanjay Lele, and Hemant Joshi. In addition to these deaths, the assault also wounded a number of Maharashtra-based visitors.
In order to find the attackers, the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police have begun a search in the Baisran, Pahalgam, and Anantnag general region.
Additionally, the Delhi Police have been directed to closely monitor tourist destinations and other significant locations.
