Popular actress Sai Tamhankar, recently seen alongside Emraan Hashmi in Ground Zero, opened up about her personal experiences with love, betrayal, and emotional challenges that shape romantic relationships. In a candid conversation with Hauterfly, Sai shared, “Yes, I have been cheated on, and that too at a very young age. I think I had very bad relationships during the early stages of my life. But I learned a lot from them.”

On Loyalty and Moving Forward
Speaking about the complexities of commitment, Sai expressed, “Living with the same person for an entire lifetime seems a little unnatural. However, if someone cheats, they should have the courage to come clean and confess — ‘Yes, I have done this.’ Then, both individuals can decide how to move forward.” Her honest take highlights the importance of truth and mutual respect even in difficult situations.

Acknowledging Common Relationship Mistakes
Sai also touched upon a common relationship pitfall — bringing up old issues during arguments. She admitted, “A girl should not bring up past mistakes every time in a fight… but girls do. I have done it myself, so I know this should not happen.” Addressing the anxiety that often lingers even in committed relationships, Sai added, “Even after forming a bond, that fear of being cheated on never fully disappears. But in reality, there should be no distance between partners.”

For those unfamiliar, Sai Tamhankar married visual effects artist Amey Gosavi on December 15, 2013. However, the marriage ended in divorce by mutual consent in 2015. To this day, neither Sai nor Amey has publicly disclosed the reasons behind their separation.
