Especially after the struggle in the Galwan Valley, there was bitterness in the relationship between the two countries, due to which the journey had to be banned. However, after the meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping in October 2024, the process of returning soldiers between the two countries began, and after this meeting it was decided to resume the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.
Kailash Mansarovar's name has come from Manas i.e. Mana and Sarovar i.e. lake. According to mythological belief, this lake was composed by Lord Brahma with his mind. Mount Kailash is considered to be the abode of Lord Shiva, and this place is extremely sacred for Hindus, Buddhists and Jains. This journey is not only the test of the body, but also the soul, where there is a confluence of reverence, patience and devotion at every step.
