NCERT has made major changes to the book of Social Science of Class VII. The first part of the books currently published by NCERT is available. The second episode will come in the next few months. In the meantime, the authorities did not clarify whether the deleted chapters will be included in the following areas. The new book “Exploring Society: India and Beyond” now have chapters based on ancient Indian dynasties like Maurya, Magadha, Shung and Satavahan.
New books provide students with information about religious sites and pilgrimages in India from the chapter 'How the Land Bees Sacred'.
